Regina V. Baptist Obituary
May 25, 1945 - December 15, 2017 Regina V. Baptist, 72, of Stroudsburg, passed away late Friday December 15, 2017 surrounded by her family at the Lehigh Valley Health System Hospice House. She was the loving wife of Rudolph M. Baptist since 1971. Born May 25, 1945 in Dover, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Thomas and Jena (Marion) Imbimbo.
She was a resident of Monroe County for the past 36 years. Regina attended The Church of Saint Matthew in East Stroudsburg and was a member of Saint Mary"s Roman Catholic Church in Wharton, New Jersey. She was an animal lover and was an avid supporter of ASPCA and AWSOM. In addition to her husband Rudolph, she is survived by her 4 children, Christine Webb and her husband Joseph of Pine Grove, Jennifer Jacobsen of Stroudsburg, Kelly Scott Baptist of Summerville, South Carolina, and Jason Thomas Baptist of Bushkill; her grandchildren Riley, Ryanne and Lucian.
She is also survived by her sister Rita Imbimbo Moore of Stroudsburg. Regina was predeceased by her grandson Ryan Todd Webb. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on 10 Dec at 10am at Saint Mary"s Roman Catholic Church, 345 South Main Street, Wharton, New Jersey. Interment of her cremated remains will be at the convenience of the family in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Regina"s name to either St Jude Children"s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105 or to the Shriners Hospital for Children 3551 North Broad Street, Philadelphia PA 19140.
