She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Brooks of East Elmhurst, NY and Jason Brooks (Patricia Ferguson) of Budd Lake, NJ; her grandchildren, Danielle Brooks of New York, Lavon Wright of New York, Kiara Brooks of New York, Jordan Brooks-Gilkes of New York, Malik Brooks-Gilkes of New York, Jessinia Brooks of New York, N'kele Brooks-Gilkes of New York, Nya Brooks-Gilkes of New York and Ryasia Brooks-Gilkes of New York; and her sisters, Jackie Starks of Virginia and Susan Starks of Stroudsburg.
