We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Janet Burkett of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert R. Burkett; her parents, Raymond Shafer and Dartha M. Longyhore (Neal); and her siblings, Richard, Walter Shafer and Harriet Rafferty.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Allen Burkett of Stroud Township and Diane Tanner of Texas; her brother Elwood "Sparky" Longyhore of Saylorsburg; and her grandchildren, Kari Marie Luinstra, Adam Marshal Tanner and Jason Matthew Tanner. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19, services will be private at the convenience of the family.
