He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Hettel and Barbara Hettel (Hall); his sons, Thomas and James Hettel; and his grandson Matthew Hettel.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian (Lee); his children, Cathleen Fillman (Kurt) of Stroudsburg and Stephen Hettel (Kimberlee) of East Stroudsburg; his brothers, Louis Hettel (Mark Hettel) of Georgia and NJ; his grandchildren, Lianne, Taylor, Julia, Emily, Haleigh, Sarah, Paige and Mikaela; and his great grandchild Josephine Lillian.
Viewing will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the William H. Clark Funeral Home (1003 Main St, Stroudsburg, PA 18360). A prayer will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society.
