He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Charles and Anna Silfee (Petrick); and his siblings, Charlotte Batzel, Eleanor Huge, Rosemarie Hineline and Stephen Silfee.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Mae Silfee (LaBar); his children, Gail Widdoss (Silfee) of Albrightsville and Gilbert N. "Bud" Silfee Jr. (Tracy) of Kresgeville; his grandchildren, Krystal Widdoss of Port Ritchie, FL, Todd Widdoss Jr. (Misty) of Tannersville, Chantal Silfee of Wilkes Barre and Joshua Silfee (Samantha) of Kresgeville; his great grandchildren, Kristopher Hull, Alexander Hull, Sky Harmon, Sadie Curtis, Victoria Brunstetter, Sofia Widdoss, Coroline Widdoss, Caleb Ruck and Jace Silfee; and his siblings, Esther Norris of East Stroudsburg, Jeannie Balmer of Binghamton, NY, Joyce Michaels of Levittown, Sally Gontz of Stroudsburg, Wesley Silfee of Bushkill, Robert Silfee of Neola, Barbara Conklin of Kunkletown, Roy Silfee of Hartford and Paul Silfee of Florida.
