He was predeceased by: his wife J. Elaine Stys; his parents, Pauline Stys and Stephen Stys; his sister Theresa Klecha; and his brothers-in-law, Ronald Surdykowski, Frank Klecha, John Gockeler and Thomas Forder.
He is survived by: his daughter Cindy Stys Decorges (Guy); his granddaughter Ashlyn; his sisters, Gloria Surdykowski of Short Hills, NJ and Patricia Stys of East Stroudsburg, PA; and his sister-in-law Marylyn Gockeler of Easton, PA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
