It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edith Rose Transue (Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania), born in Matamoras, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 24, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Howard A. Transue; and her parents, Charles McConnell and Lillian McConnell. She is survived by: her children, Vincent McConnell of Lake Wallenpaupak, Antionette Furman of Port Jervis, NY and Anna Lombardo of Shippensburg; her stepsons, Howard Transue of Cape May, NJ and Dave Transue; and her pet Jojo. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in honor of Edith to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
