The memory of Doris E. Philips of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 15, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas H. Philips; her parents, John W. and Mary A. Haase (Crooks); and her brother Richard Haase. She is survived by: her children, Debra Cuono (Nicholas), Sharon Young (Doyle Young), Thomas Philips (Lisa), Carol Decker (Terrence) and Lee Philips (Janine); her grandchildren, Nicholas Cuono Jr., Christopher Cuono, Tarah Decker (Lauren), James Wakeley (Erica), Nicole Wakeley (Mark), Alexis Philips and Camryn Philips; and her great grandchildren, Madison, Dillon, Alexis, Bobby and Brian.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stroudsburg United Methodist Church (547 Main St, Stroudsburg, PA 18360). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. Before retiring, Doris was passionate about caring for others while volunteering for the Monroe County Office of Aging, RSVP, and multiple Senior Community Centers.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial remembrances be made to Stroudsburg United Methodist Church or Stroudsburg Fire Department.
