Donald D. Slutter Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald D. Slutter of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 8, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Slutter and Florence Slutter (Hallet); and his siblings, Grace Jones, Anna Mae Drake, Walter "Roy" Slutter and Richard Slutter.
He is survived by: his wife Donna M. (Holland); his daughter Debra Downey (Kevin) of Stroudsburg; his grandsons, Justin Downey (Morgan), Matthew Downey (Monica) and Lucas Downey; his brother Lester Slutter of Stroudsburg; his grandchildren, Cindy Mathiesen, Elizabeth Mathiesen and Thomas Mathiesen; and his pet Poco. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to current COVID health restrictions, the funeral home capacity is limited to fifty people; and friends and family are asked to follow CDC guidelines by wearing masks and maintaining social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial remembrances be made to Stroud Township Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 807, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
