He was predeceased by: his daughter Donna Smith; and his siblings, Clara Hursh, Elwood Hagerty, Olen Hagerty and Ottmar Hagerty.
He is survived by: his wife Georgann (Nevil); his children, Carl Hagerty (Ann) of Croydon, Patrick Hagerty of Stroudsburg, Annette Martin (Jay) of Mt. Pocono and Gayle Hagerty of San Francisco; and his stepchildren, Robin Fleming (Ronald) of Henryville, Craig Gearhart (Judy) of Bartonsville, James Gearhart of Stroudsburg and Todd Gearhart (Jill) of Cresco. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
