She was predeceased by: her husband William Michael Sambates; her parents, George Georgiou and Eleni Georgiou; and her brothers, Demo and Kyriakos.
She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Carayiannas (Bill) of Stroudsburg; her granddaughter Andrea Carayiannas of Stroudsburg; and her sisters, Margarita of Larnaca and Spyroulla of Cleveland, OH. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church (135 Stokes Ave, Stroudsburg, PA 18360). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
