He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry R. Bateman and Ruth C. Fritz Bateman Roble; his former wife Pamela Sapienza Bateman; and his stepfather Ralph Roble. He is survived by: his wife Connie Lydic Bateman of Strongstown; his son Brandon J. Bateman (Teresa) of Derry; his brother Bob Bateman (Maxine) of Derry; his stepchildren, Heather Hopkins (Guy) of Strongstown and Tony Koscho of Strongstown; his grandchildren, Gabrielle, Dylan and Brock Bateman; his stepgrandchildren, Ryan Hopkins (Katie), AJ Koscho Janelle Hopkins (Cheyanna), Peyton Koscho and Makenzie Hopkins; his stepgreat-granddaughter Alara Koscho; his brother-in-law Buddy; his aunt Alice Beauten of Greensburg; and his pet Prince. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
