She was predeceased by: her husband Earl D. Maxwell; her parents, Edwin George Bernard and Alice Bernard (Hawthorne); and her brothers, Edwin "Sonny" Bernard, Jr. and Charles Bernard.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda D. Carannante (Antonio Carannante) of Strausstown; her grandchildren, Mario Earl Carannante (Kate Carannante), Jovanna Alicia Purdy (Leroy Derrick Purdy, Jr.) and Enzo Giustino Carannante (Megan Elizabeth Carannante); and her siblings, Howard Bernard (Pam), George Bernard (Barbara) and Ruth McCann (late William).
