He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy K. Simpson and Gladys N. Allen Simpson; and his siblings, David Simpson, Billy Simpson and Karen LaVan.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his sons, Nathan Simpson (Tina Schreiber) of Strattanville and Ethan Simpson of Strattanville; and his siblings, Gladys Bump of Sligo and Jeffrey Simpson (Cindy) of Punxsutawney. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
