He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie M. Smith, Sr. and T. Arveta Steele Smith; his wife Carole R. Callihan; his children, Kenneth Ray Smith, Curtis Lee Smith and Amy Rochelle Smith; and his sisters, Dorothy, Eleanor, Betty, Evelyn, Olive and Helen.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Smith (Cindy) of Knox, Ronald Smith of Clarion, Vicki Quinter of Clarion and Jamie Smith of Strattanville; his brother Darrell D. Smith (Janet) of Clarion; and his siblings-in-law, Darlene Callihan, Monie Callihan, Beverly Hess, Larry Callihan, Paul Callihan (Natalie) and Chuck Lutz (Joyce). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
