It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph E. Johnson Jr. (Strasburg, Pennsylvania), born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 22, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Laura Carlile Johnson; and his parents, Joseph E. Johnson, and Elizabeth Louise Leeds Johnson, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Daniel D. Johnson (Colleen), Joseph E. Johnson III, David L. Johnson (Dianne), Linda S. Young (Dennis) and Cindy L. Lutz; and his sister Elizabeth Louise Kellar. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Strasburg (101 S Decatur St, Strasburg, PA 17579). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
