He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earl and Mary Kendig of Ronks; and his children, Tom Kendig of California, Douglas Kendig (Marina Kendig) of Oregon, Vicki Zurbrick (Bruce Zurbrick) of Lancaster and David Kendig (Wanda Kendig). He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
