With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Simpson of Strabane, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 21, 2021 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Simpson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Samuel Patton Stouppe Simpson and Olive Irene Horne Simpson; and his brothers, Samuel Horne Simpson (Margaret), John Rush Simpson (Betty) and Richard Frank Simpson.

He is survived by : his wife Ardeth Degenhardt Simpson; his sons, James A. Simpson (Amy) and Donald W. Simpson (Barb Wiseley); his grandchildren, Tyler, Timothy, Heather, Stephen and Barb; and also, Andrew and Justin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Chartiers Hill United Presbyterian Church, 2230 Washington Road, Canonsburg, PA 15317.
