She was predeceased by: her parent Samuel Brown. She is survived by: her parent Evelyn Scott Brown; her husband James Dean; her son Michael Andre North of Strabane; her grandchildren, Kirstie Nichole North-Alvarado (Denzel), Jeremiah Hardy, Isiah Dean, Theresa Thrasher, Joseph Thrasher and Sarayah Dean; her brothers, Wallace Brown (Barbara) of Scottsdale, AZ and Lawrence Brown (Melva) of Cary, NC; her stepchildren, James Dean Jr. (Cassie Elliott) of Washington, Camille Dean of Washington, Dietta Adams of Washington and Natasha Thrasher of Pittsburgh; her child James North, Sr. of Charleston, WV; and her daughter-in-law Chalsie North. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Beverly's name to the funeral home.
