It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Metzgar of Stoystown, Pennsylvania, born in Somerset, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 27, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Gomer and Louella Rosella Steckman (Layton); her husband George Dean Metzgar; her son-in-law Terry Sarver; and her siblings, John Steckman, James "Puggy" Steckman, Howard "Pappy" Steckman, Elmer "Shorty" Steckman, Diana Engle, Margaret Kovach and LaVerne Weyandt.
She is survived by: her children, Terry (Sandi) of Chuckey, TN, Kim (Kathy) of Gasport, NY, Kathy Sarver and Marianne (Barry Fisher); her grandchildren, Michelle Bolen (Robert), Scott Metzgar (Sarah), Todd Metzgar (Jayme), Shawn Sarver, Kimberly Metzgar (Pete Poodry), Kristi Fry (Kris), Jennifer Banner (Mark) and Jordan Metzgar (Emily); and her sister Edyth Kimmel. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
