He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rayburn Torrence and Catherine Torrence (Silbaugh); his wife Jean Wirbick; his children, Tanya Porter (Jeffrey), Jim Torrence (Karen), Randy Torrence (Geraldine), Eric Torrence (Sara), Erin Kitzmiller (John), Brian Torrence (Annamaria Kastal) and Tuter Alumbaugh; his brothers, Ray, Wilford (Barbara) and Bobby Torrence (Arlene); and his aunt Lazetta Sidwell. He was also cherished by 17 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson.
