She was predeceased by: her father William; and her daughter Kathleen M. Oakes. She is survived by: her daughter Jane Miles (Tim) of Grove City; her son-in-law Dale Oakes of Mercer; her granddaughters, April Novick (Michael) of Sharpsville, Meghan Miles of Meadville, Leah Oakes (Ian Mundy) of Pittsburgh and Katelyn Miles of Charleston, SC; her great grandchildren, Bronson, Weston and Taylin Novick; and her sisters, Judy Poole and Betty Fischer (Art).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Shirley's name to Oak Grove Church, 10 Oak Grove Road, Mercer.
