With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Wayne Carey (Stoneboro, Pennsylvania), born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 19, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Henry and Bessie Marie Carey (Dilley); his siblings, Winifred Carey, Ronald and Harry "Gene" Carey; and his siblings-in-law, William Thompson, Charles, Eugene, Kenneth, Robert, William Hart, Lois Carey, Emma JoAnn Carey, Alice Moon, Mary Lou Morley and Roseann Sloan.
He is survived by: his wife Doris J. Carey (Hart); his sons, David W. Carey (Judith) of The Villages, FL and R. Daniel Carey (Linda Hunt); his grandsons, Bobby Hunt (Lisa) of Grove City, Michael Carey (Tracy) of State College and Joshua Carey (Debra) of Dallas, TX; his great grandchildren, Grace and Ben Carey; his siblings, Doris Mae Thompson of Maryville, TN and Dale Carey of Grove City; and his siblings-in-law, Jeanette Sopher, Judy Gilliland of Franklin, Linda Pryor and James Hart. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials in Bob's name can be made to the Millbrook Presbyterian Church or to the charity of one's choice.
