It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James A. Ash (Stoneboro, Pennsylvania), who passed away on March 4, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Ash and Alice E. Ash (Johnson); his wife Hildegard "Hilde" J. Friak; and his sister Alice Smith. He is survived by: his nieces, Sandra Blakely of Calrton and Linda Straub (Charles) of Powell, WY; and his nephew Garland "Terp" Smith of Carlton. He is also survived by two great-nieces, one great-nephew, three great-great-nieces, and one great-great-nephew.
