He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Daniel Steban Jr.. He is survived by: his parents, Thomas Hartman and Anne Hartman Garrett; his wife Margaret "Peggy" McCurry Hartman; his children, Thomas J. Hartman (Toni) of Fayette City, Michael D. Hartman (Dianna) of Phoenix and Mary Beth Steban of Smithton; his grandchildren, Michael of Phoenix, Cody of Phoenix, Emily Hartman of Phoenix, Jacob of Fayette City, Jesse of Fayette City, Jordan of Fayette City and Jared Hartman of Fayette City; and his brothers, Tim Garrett of Stockdale, Terry Garrett of Tupelo and Mark Garrett of Roscoe.
