She was predeceased by: her parents, George Peters and Margaret Peters (Marinos); and her sister Marie Danas Murphy. She is survived by: her husband Steve; her sons, Stephen (Alicia) and Nicholas (Kristen); her grandchildren, Sara, Hunter, Taylor, Thais, Reid and Olivia; and her siblings, George M. Peters (Paula) and Joanne Hamel (Wayne). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
