He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester S. Shelhamer and Bertha Shelhamer (Howell); his wife Mary J. Shelhamer (Holmes); his children, Steven L. Shelhamer and Carol L. Wall; and his sisters, Zoe Shomate, Jean Bowman and Dorothy Stiner.
He is survived by: his children, Kent D. Shelhamer, Jr. (Lori) of Berwick, Rebecca J. Knorr (Robert) of Berwick and Cindy E. Sides (Fred) of Ellicott City, MD; his children-in-law, Carolyn Shelhamer of Berwick and Jerry Wall of Dallas; his grandchildren, Bryan Shelhamer, John Shelhamer, Jean Elizabeth Knorr, Jeffrey R. Knorr (Stephanie), Julie Youssefi (Tony), Carl Shelhamer, Mollie Flick (Jarrod) and Jenna Hutchison (David); and his great grandchildren, Maxwell Shelhamer, Zacharia Youssefi, Elias Youssefi, Joseph Youssefi and Augustine Hutchison.
