He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur J. Bankert and Grace Ann Bankert (Edwards). He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Bankert (McClain); his daughter Kimberly "Kim" Bankert of Stewartstown; and his siblings, Arthur "Butch" Bankert (Mary) of Fawn Grove and Grace Ann "Annie" Matthews (Don) of Stewartstown.
