He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles M. Lam and Marie Lam; his wife Diane F. Lam; and his stepsiblings, Charles V. McCauley and Ann Nielson.
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca D. Tyrrell of Stewartstown, PA, David L. Lam of Aberdeen, MD and Charles J. Lam of Winchester, VA; and his siblings, Phyllis M. LaFon of Spring Hill, FL and Wilbur L. Lam of Parkville, MD. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
