It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John William Collins Sr. of Stewartstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 8, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Joan E. Collins; his parents, John F. Collins and Hazel M. Collins (Barker); his daughter Brenda M. Covington; his brother Richard N. Collins; his sister-in-law Kathleen Collins; and his sister Mary Lou Smallwood.
He is survived by: his children, Susan E. Kessler of Stewartstown, John W. Collins Jr. (Christine) of Coventry, CT and Caroline R. Collins (Polly Thibodeau) of Arlington, VA; his grandchildren, Sean E., Elizabeth S., Mary E., John William III, Brenna A. and David T.; and his brother-in-law Arthur T. Smallwood. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Edward the Confessor Parish (21 Brush Hill Rd, New Fairfield, CT 06812).
