He was predeceased by: his wife Norma M. Barton (Fulton); his parents, John Z. Barton and Charlotte L. Barton (Hoffman); his sons, John Edward and Jeffrey Lee Barton; and his siblings, Frank Barton and Sylvia Little.
He is survived by: his children, Richard A. Barton of Stewartstown, Katherine A. Trahan (Michael) of Conroe, TX, Susan E. Weaver of Stewartstown and Joanne L. Rill of Stewartstown; and his brother George Barton. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
