She was predeceased by: her husband Luther W. Orwig; her parents, Nelson O. Lutz and Blanche Lutz (Kinard); and her brothers, Maynard (Mildred), Melvin (Evelyn) and Norman Lutz (Janet).
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen B. Orwig of Muhlenberg Township and Krista L. Walton (Curt) of Spring City; her grandchild Dr. Karie L. Walton-Buonopane (Mike) of Massachusetts; and her great grandchildren, Natalija Walton, Fionn and Rhys Buonopane. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
