He was predeceased by: his spouse Fay A. Stackpole (Bickel); his parents, Edwin L. Stackpole, Sr. and Martha M. Stackpole (Wadsworth); his daughter Barbara A. Gillum; his brother Courtland I. Stackpole; and his son-in-law Edward L. Gillum.

He is survived by: his daughters, Wanda L. Kunkoski of Windsor and Linda Snyder (Robert) of Felton; and his sister-in-law Marlene Stackpole. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
