She is survived by: her spouse Dean Sweitzer; her children, Eugene McDowell of Seneca, PA and Pamela Fleshman (Kerry) of Lewisburg, WV.; her grandchildren, Colonel Todd McDowell (Angela) of Stafford, VA, Jeffrey McDowell (Kim) of Belle Vernon, PA, Christian Ward (Wendy) of Hickory, NC and Melanie Zopp (Bill) of Lewisburg, WV.; and her great grandchildren, Andrew, Emily, Susanna McDowell of Stafford, VA, Jordyn McDowell, Olivia McDowell of Belle Vernon, PA, Audrey, Jared, Riley Zopp and Ethan Garrett of Hickory, NC..
