She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene "Pop" Swift; her parents, Reid Joines and Lura Joines (Walker); and her siblings, Mutt, Edward, Hort, Robert, Sam, Marvin Joines, Mabel Jones and Virginia Miller.

She is survived by: her children, Steven E. Swift (Cindy), Susan L. Hobbs and Kathy A. Heffner (Mike); her grandchildren, Derek Swift, Aaron Swift (Jessica), Joshua Hobbs, Jillian Hobbs (Travis), Daniel Hobbs (Molly), Kyrstin Tobias (Quinn) and Jonathon Heffner (Elizabeth); her great grandchildren, Ava and Camden Swift; and her siblings, Duke Joines, John Joines, Shirley Dixon, Dollie Hill, Charlotte Amspacher and Marcie Conrad.
