He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh M. Holmes and Josephine Holmes (Burton); and his brother Roy Earl Holmes. He is survived by: his wife Rose Holmes (Poleshuk); his children, Albert 'Jeffrey Holmes, Brian 'Todd Holmes, Jeremy A. Holmes, Samuel M. Holmes, Daniel E. Holmes and Kimberly N. Nunes; and his sister Helen Miller. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
