She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Martin and Hettie Martin (Musser); her husband Isaac Hoover; her son David Hoover; and her siblings, Alvin, Paul, Sarah, Elva, Minnie, Esther and Mary Martin.

She is survived by: her children, Luke (Ada Mae Hoover), Ruth Hoover of Lebanon, Lucy Hoover of Stevens, Verna Hoover of Stevens, James (Ruth Hoover) of Lebanon and Susan (Warren Martin) of Reinholds; her daughter-in-law Ellen Hoover; and her siblings, Samuel Martin of Gordonville and Lydia Martin of Myerstown. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren; 90 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
