He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Nichols and Miriam Nichols (Spangler); and his siblings, Myra Greenfield and Frederick Nichols. He is survived by: his wife Patricia E. (Harding); his children, Bruce T. Nichols, Jonathan A. (Michelle Nichols), Jeffrey W. Nichols and Christine L. (Benjamin Herr); and his siblings, Patricia Fry, Joseph Nichols, Phillip Nichols and Steve Nichols. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
