He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Eaby and Grace S. Eaby (Welsh); his wife Gloria V. Eaby (Frankhouser); his daughter Connie L. Sheaffer; and his brothers, George Eaby and Charles Eaby.
He is survived by: his daughter Debra M. Newton of Hamilton, TX; his siblings, Harry Eaby of Akron, Paul (Mary Eaby) of Mt. Gretna, Gladys (Leon Gehman) of Ephrata, Fern Hailey of Lancaster and Mabel (Ken Musser); and his grandchildren, Yvonne and Isaac. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
