It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert W Hollister of Sterling, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Robert's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Robert's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as his find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond Hollister and Esther Parry Hollister; his daughter Bobbie Jo Giles; and his great grandchild Everest Foreman. He is survived by: his children, Robin Foreman (Jeff), Esther Burge and Clifford Hollister (Melissa); and his son-in-law Nicholas Giles. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Hollisterville (23 Pond Rd, Moscow, PA 18444). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jericho independent church, the First Baptist Church of Hollisterville, or to the charity of choice.
