She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Brown and Georgianna Barton Brown (Johnson); her husband Carl Murphy, Sr.; her brothers, Michael Brown and Leroy Brown; and her close friends, Crystal Rector and Mary Reid.
She is survived by : her daughters, Wanda Waters (Trendall), Crystal Brown and Earlanda Holland (Keith); and her siblings, Sheila Lewis (Charles), Leah Jennings (Jerome) and John Brown (Lorene). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 65 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter.
