He was predeceased by: his father John Jones of Virginia; and his son Robert J. Jones, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Debbie (Greg), Mary Ellen (Jim), John (Maryann) and Barbara (Ken); his brother Richard "Dick" Jones (Trudy); and his nephews, Robert and Michael (Kirsten).
