With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Matilda Pilsitz of Steelton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 18, 2020. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Matilda Pilsitz to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Vergot and Frances Bratina Vergot; her husband Michael M. Pilsitz; and her siblings, Fred, Philip, George, Frank, Louis, Mark Vergot, Catherine Cordas, Margaret Matincheck, Josephine Devlin, Ann Cannon and Frances Rust.

She is survived by: her children, Michael S. Pilsitz, Jeffrey A. Pilsitz (Lisa J.), Joel P. Pilsitz, John H. Jacobs, Wendy J. Poston and Lisa L. Pilsitz. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Current Commonwealth of Pennsylvania COVID-19 Guidelines will be enforced.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Steelton-Highspire High School -.
