He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Rossum and Joyce Rossum (Henderson). He is survived by: his children, Shirley Helms, Cynthia Taylor (David), Loretta Rossum, Lorenzo Rossum, Eric Rossum, Oscar Rossum, Sr. (Sharon), Shepre Waters (Sheldon), Latasha Poles (Maurice), Aisha Moss (Rodney), Patricia Salame (Ayal), Ruth Smith (William) and Roberta Buchanan (Larry); and his godchildren, Yona Hill, Junior Watts, Tony Elby and Anita Corbin. He is also survived by great-great grandchildren; his nieces and nephews; his spiritual sons and daughters.
Covid 19 guidelines will be observed with masks and six foot social distancing for all attendees of the public viewing and live streaming of the funeral service will be available on the Major H. Winfield Funeral Home YouTube page.
