He was predeceased by: his son Stephen Szada. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Maryjo Szada of Steelton, Tina Szada of Harrisburg, Rev. John A. Szada, Jr. of Elysburg and Joseph Szada of Texas; and his grandchildren, Tracie Sullivan and Mackenzie Pugh.
