He is survived by: his wife Nicole Stepp; his children, Jason DeWalt and Heather Sheriff (Devin); his grandchildren, Justin Altland, Zachary, Kendall Lawton, Savannah and Lillian Sherriff; his sister Sandy Swartz (Troy); his nephews, Earl Bechtel, Jr. (Tracy), Matthew Leeper, Richard Jr., Kenneth, David Stepp and Joseph Swartz; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Dylan, Hunter, Rebecca and Jessica Bechtel (Jessie).
