He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Buie and Georgia Buie (Johnson); his wife Rubye; and his siblings, Ola, Minnie, Frances, Helen, Alfonia, Jack, Daniel and Buddy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rochelle, Theresa, Mozelle and Ericka; his brothers, Willie and Sam Buie; and his friend Patricia Anderson. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and one grandchild in heaven; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
