He was predeceased by : his parents, Eugene A. Vance, Jr. and Alice F. Anspach Vance. He is survived by : his son Gregory Vance; his close friend Jan I. Bensch (Ray); his sister Patricia Schneider (Denny); his niece Amy Shehan; his nephew Troy Schneider; his great-nieces, Arabella and Amelia; his great-nephew Luke; and also Evan Bensch.
