He was predeceased by: his father Irwin Lester Bortner Jr.; and his wife Alma E. Bortner. He is survived by: his mother Beverly L. Botts Bortner; and his siblings, Steven M. Bortner (Roxanne) of Chambersburg, Kathy Coccia (Frank) of Harrisburg and Mark E. Bortner (Tina) of Lake Wynonah. He is also survived by five nieces, one nephew, 5 great nieces, 4 great nephews, and two great-great nephews.
