It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernstene Smith of Steelton, Pennsylvania, born in Little River, South Carolina, who passed away on September 30, 2023, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Randall and Lula Randall (Vaught); her husband Adolph Smith; her son Marcellino B. Smith; and her siblings, Rodie Williams, Paul Randall, Thomas Eugene Randall, Bessie Bradshaw, Pauline Robinson, Evelyn Barret and Alberta Edge.
She is survived by: her children, Billy A. Smith and Brendella L. Watts; her sister Katie Collins; and her grandchildren, Melvin Watts, Lydia Smith, Billy Smith, Shiangel Watts, Patience Watts, Gregory White, Samantha Smith and Rashad Cobb. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren (and one on the way); 1 great great grandchild; and many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
